Rob Garay is a dynamic executive leader with a proven track record of driving change and delivering exceptional customer value and experiences. With expertise in brand prioritization and strategy development, he has led cross-functional teams to achieve business growth and success. Rob has a strong ability to identify business opportunities and develop innovative solutions that drive revenue and increase market share.

Throughout his career, he has excelled in leading successful teams with a focus on consumer-centricity. He has experience in managing HR, finance, and event management operations, ensuring smooth business operations and driving organizational excellence. Rob’s key strengths include strategy development and execution, strategic planning, business development, project management, product launches, budget management, profit and loss (P&L) oversight, event management, team leadership, stakeholder management, operations management, change management, innovation, and digital transformation.

Here are some notable accomplishments from his career:

  • Increased the Orange County Bar Association's (OCBA) revenue by 122% and decreased expenses by 2%, leading to an astounding increase in net income of 8759% over the budget within the first fiscal year of employment.

  • Successfully completed a six-year digital transformation project, including the development of a new brand, eCommerce platform, user study, web design, development, and CRM integration.

  • Conducted the first-ever demand and segmentation study of the internal audit profession in the US and Canada.

In his current role as the Executive Director/Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Orange County Bar Association, he is responsible for overseeing a diverse range of tasks. These include financial planning, staff supervision and development, communication efforts, committee and election processes, technology systems management, relationship building, event management, and direction of the Lawyer Referral and Information Service program. He manages net assets ranging from $5 million to $10 million and generates revenues between $1 million to $5 million.

Prior to Rob's role at the Orange County Bar Association, he held executive positions at The Institute of Internal Auditors, where he served as the Vice President of Global Marketing, Senior Director of Marketing and Digital Experience, and Managing Director of Digital & Marketing Strategy. In these roles, Rob led interdisciplinary teams, developed global brand strategies, oversaw digital transformations, enhanced market segmentation, and drove membership growth.

Rob holds a Master of Business Administration from Nova Southeastern University and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Central Florida. Additionally, he is certified in User Experience with a specialization in Interaction Design from the Nielsen Norman Group.

Outside of his professional career, he is actively involved in giving back to the community. Rob currently serves as an Advisory Board Member for the Citizens Advisory Council of the Ocoee Police Department and previously served in the same capacity for Best Buddies of Central Florida.
